Located at 33 avenue de Champagne in Epernay, in a magnificent setting, La Maison De Venoge perfectly conveys the image of nobility, distinction and refinement associated with de Venoge and the Art de Vivre. Today, the address houses the company's headquarters, the main residence, as well as a bar/boutique and guest rooms in the outbuildings.

L'Ecurie: Champagne De Venoge's Bar and Boutique
Nestled in the former stables of the house, hence the name L'Ecurie, the outbuilding has been completely refurbished by a designer and offers the ideal setting for tasting the House cuvées. You can also dine on the premises, with a tapas menu that goes perfectly with our champagnes and cuvées.
The boutique offers all the champagnes in the range, and above all a fine selection of vintages.
La Demeure du Champagne De Venoge
Located on the legendary Avenue de Champagne, the De Venoge town house perfectly reflects the House's image of elegance and refinement. Completed in 1900, the building testifies to Épernay's commercial dynamism in the late 19th century. Known to the people of Épernay as the Villa Galice, it was also home to the ORCCA, the regional cultural office of Champagne-Ardenne, headed by Jacques Riou, another well-known figure in Épernay.
The superb residence is not only a place for receiving customers, but also houses the offices, as well as special rooms where the House's milestones are preserved (collection of labels, capsules, etc.), along with beautiful works of art such as Jean Gruber's 1921 stained-glass windows, an allegory of victory in the staircase, and a reproduction of Le Déjeuner d'huîtres, a painting by Jean-François de Troy commissioned by Louis XV in 1735, the 1st representation of Champagne on canvas in one of the salons.
Louis XV's decree of May 25, 1728 authorized only Champagne wines to be marketed and transported in bottles. Champagne was born. In 2005, Maison De Venoge paid tribute to Louis XV with the launch of the prestige cuvée "Louis XV", to whom Champagne owes so much.
Originally from Switzerland, Henri-Marc founded "de Venoge & Cie" in 1837 with his son Joseph.
The following year, Henri-Marc was responsible for a veritable marketing revolution, creating the very first illustrated label in the history of Champagne. In 1845, Joseph de Venoge, son of Henri-Marc and a leading figure in Epernay society, took over the management of the company. In 1858, the Cuvée des Princes was created in tribute to the Princes of Orange.
In 1998, the Maison de Venoge became part of the Champagne group BCC (Boizel Chanoine Champagne), and today sells just over 1 million bottles, with a superb vinothèque in its home. The history and past of the Maison, as you descend to the vinothèque, still holds a few surprises in store, such as the old kitchens, the laundry and a drying room.
With this exceptional vinothèque carefully preserved in its cellars, de Venoge is one of the rare Houses to offer such a collection of old vintages to connoisseurs. Disgorging is done on demand: 4 to 8 weeks lead time for limited quantities.
The Cuvées Louis XV are composed exclusively of Grands Crus and made from the finest vintages, and represent the quintessence of the House's expertise.
Cuvées des Princes are the result of a meticulous selection of grapes from the finest Champagne crus, and are distinguished by their elegance and fine acidity.
