What could be more authentic and rewarding for international visitors than to say "I have my own private cellar in Champagne! And what could be more practical! With " My Private Champagne ", international visitors are no longer restricted in their purchases of Champagne from winegrowers, houses and cooperatives.
No more " I'm only going to take 2 bottles, I don't have room in the car or I'm flying ". Now that they have their own private cellar, they can buy as many bottles as they like. Karin Pohlmann, co-founder with Christophe Lévy of this new service, takes care of everything. With their transport partner MBE, based in Reims and Epernay, they pick up the bottles purchased by the customer directly, transport them to their cellar, place them carefully in specially designed racks, then list the bottles in the 3D cellar management application, developed with Canadian company InVintory. " The customer can visualize his cellar in real time and in 3D, know where his wines are located in his cellar, have all the information and characteristics of the wines and their value, and show them to friends or family," says Karin Pohlmann.
My Private Champagne Cellar (MPCC) isn't just about storage. The idea is also to offer international wine lovers an immersive experience. In the converted cellars, the Champagne art of living is expressed through premium services for customers wishing to spend a pleasant moment tasting their cuvée. Of course, tastings with commentary by an oenologist, lunch or dinner with friends or family in the cellar, or simply an aperitif accompanied by charcuterie or cheese boards can all be organized. MPCC customers also benefit from the expertise and interpersonal skills of Karin Pohlmann and Christophe Lévy in high-end concierge services, with the organization of stays, visits or exceptional moments to be experienced in the region. Both ambassadors of the Coteaux, Maisons et Caves Unesco World Heritage Site, they are committed to bringing the region to life in the hearts of international visitors, to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
" The idea is also to build visitor loyalty. What better pretext than to get them to come back to Champagne to visit their own private cellars, and renew their collections with the Vignerons, Maisons and Coopératives," explains Christophe Lévy.
A new high-end service that should satisfy both international wine lovers eager to discover Champagne and its nuggets, and professionals who want to sell more on site to their visitors.
