Located on the corner of rue Libergier and rue Chanzy, opposite Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral, Bistro des Anges is a convivial place for lovers of bistro cuisine, wines and gins, and Champagnes, of course. Formerly known as "Le Colibri", the establishment, under the impetus of 2 friends and associates, Jérôme Cailliez and Thomas Bricout, reinvented itself a few years ago to offer a relaxed, friendly experience, but also a love of wine and bistro cuisine. What's more, its proximity to the cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, makes it an ideal place to meet tourists, shopkeepers and Reims locals while enjoying lunch or dinner after exploring the city's architectural treasures.
The Bistro des Anges menu changes with the seasons. Traditional dishes rub shoulders with international fare and vegetarian recipes, as do burgers and fries, salmon tartar and Tataki, Burgundy snails with Chaource and terrines with ratafia. For the aperitif, vegetarian boards and charcuterie slates, baked camembert and Parmesan fries to share with a fine list of over a hundred wines and champagnes, selected by enthusiasts Thomas and Jérôme.
The Bistro des Anges has a convivial atmosphere, with a large pewter bar ideal for sharing a "pot" with friends. Whether you're coming for a business lunch or a simple drink with friends, family or visitors, the Bistro des Anges is sure to make your stay a pleasant one. The interior design brings together different spaces, creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
Bistro des Anges also offers special events throughout the year. Whether it's to celebrate all the events in the calendar, or other festive occasions such as new wines, special celebration days, or special tastings ... the establishment organizes memorable evenings that add a special touch to your visit.
